Setia Alam-Shah Alam 2 singletrack

Today Sunday 21st Feb:
We did a two hours single track ride under canopy from Setia Alam to the peak of Shah Alam 2 and return to Sec 9 via Kg.Budiman and Bukit Bandaraya
6 riders on 4 KSRs and 2 KLXs
During the hot days,being in the forest is something that only adventurers can appreciate. The air is refreshing and non polluted. The wind is cooling with lower temperature. These are the elements that trail riders would enjoy in their outings.

The two big bikes in the video are BMW 650GS and my blue Kawasaki ER6N. I have made a small improvement in the suspension department by replacing them with the one from versys.Now it is possible to use the bike for light offroading with proper tires fitted. Beside riding my trail bike on weekends,I am also very much into doing long adventure ride with my midsize motorcycle especially for a ride-camping trip. I have done quite a few rides since taking possesion of the ER6N in June 2008.

Kuala Tahan to Kg.Bantal doubletrack ride

It was only few months ago that we had our ride to Kg.Bantal and put up a night at one of the basic chalets there.It was a good ride with intermitten rain to keep the dust at bay.This time around we had 23 riders and with the dry days,dust would be our greatest challenge. It is indeed a challenge to find our lines through the blinding dust.We started our ride from Kuala Tahan destined for Kg.Bantal and double back to Kuala Tahan for the second night stay. Total distance 140 km estimated.We did not make it to Kg.Bantal when a rider had a nasty fall and decided to double back at the 56th km.It was another good ride with two night stay in Kuala Tahan.
